Chaired by Summit Care CEO Cynthia Payne, the aged care day features representatives from leading residential and community aged care organisations and aims to examine the changes needed in response to sector reforms.

Roundtable discussion areas:

  • Developing the business case – funding options
  • Homecare assistive technologies – telehealth and telecare
  • Integration and deployment challenges
  • Understanding the existing technologies available for your aged care service provision
  • Developing your technology enabled workforce.

Roundtable facilitators include Shelly Fletcher, eHealth and primary care manager at Feros Care; Bruce Coller, CIO of Sir Moses Montefiore Jewish Home; and Glenn Payne, CIO of Feros Care.

Elsewhere in the aged care stream, industry presenters include:

  • Amana Living CEO Ray Glickman on new forms of aged care ‘warfare’ – consumer-direction, sector consolidation, uberfication, networked care delivery, care delivered via technology, and the integration of aged care within the health care system.
