Background

The Health Metrics World Conference will take place on September 21 and 22 at the Crown Conference Centre in Melbourne.

The conference will bring together a broad range of innovative thinkers and speakers, with the aim of unpacking and abstracting some of the complexity that surrounds the delivery of health and ageing. A variety of sessions will cover service delivery through the consumer continuum as well as the pressing strategic issues of the day. This will be delivered via practical learning and professional development in a workshop style atmosphere. There will be a strong emphasis on how technology and disruptive forces will change future paradigms.

This conference is ideal for both leaders and managers, and is an opportunity for all to invest the time, not only in personal careers, but also the future of the health and aged care sector in Australia.

About Health Metrics

Health Metrics provides software and consulting services to the health and ageing industry in Australia and New Zealand, with recent expansion to the United Kingdom.

The company is well known in the aged care industry throughout Australia and New Zealand for their software eCase, used by providers of Residential Aged Care, Retirement Villages and in Home Care.

The Australian company was created in 2008, by founders with backgrounds in clinical and information technology – see http://healthmetrics.com.au/about-us-3/

Since then, the company has grown at a rapid rate; appearing twice on the BRW Fast 100 Lists (2015, 2016) as well as being listed in the Top 25 HealthCare Technology Solution Providers by CIO Outlook Magazine, Asia Pacific, in 2016 and 2017.

During the Health Metrics journey, it became clear that Australia was well advanced in terms of its standards of aged care and technological solutions.

Despite this, the ongoing cuts made to aged care funding without industry consultation, continued to leave unanswered questions as to how Australia will deal with the ageing population.

It seems the industry itself needs to provide the answers

The Health Metrics annual conference traditionally brings together users of the software, eCase, and key industry figures to discuss trends.

This year the organisation has decided to broaden the scope of the conference; inviting speakers from outside the industry field, and opening the doors to anyone who may be interested to attend.

As an Australian owned and based pioneer in its field, Health Metrics is pleased to invite you to the Health Metrics World Conference 2017.
